DREAD RECORDING’S ALBUM 2010

Lion Fire is a trio of producers (Aries, Gold & Jinx) from the Midlands UK. The act was formed in 2006 by Aries & Gold, who hit things off in the studio straight away releasing a few 12”s that went on to do really well. In 2008 they welcomed Jinx to the crew and formed Three Lion Studios.

The three have continued to work both as a group and individually releasing on various labels including Co-Lab, Pure Vibez, Lion Dub, Dub Dimensions, Deadly Records & Apex and are now concentrating all their efforts on their debut album due to be released later this year on Ray Keith’s Dread Recordings.

During Febuary and March 2010 we will be hiting New York, Calgary, Portlnd Ottawa and Toronto (more tbc ) . I’m on tour alongside Tuffist from New York’’s original  Konkrete Jungle . We’ve already done many shows together in the last year in the UK, Barcelona, Granada and a mini tour in the Czech republic. We have also been working in the studio on various projects including the new Chopstick Dubplate Album . This tour will showcase some of the new material coming out of our camp’s ( Pure Vibez , Co-Lab, Chopstick Dubplate,  Little island, Sumo Beats etc )  After each of us touring all over Europe in this last few years we felt it time to  hit the Big Island for some Jungle and Dubstep movements .

Aries Dubs

This is a website for a DJ and producer called Aries. The site is to represent a step-up and away from the mySpace-type web presence to something a little bit more customisable and, ahem, perhaps a little more professional than is possible with mySpace.

Aries is a DJ with over a decade of experience and a producer for about half that time. He has had releases on Co-Lab Recordings, Roots, and Pure Vibez amongst others and has garnered interest across the scene from Bailey (1Xtra) to Shy FX (Digital Soundboy). He is currently about to embark on a tour of the Czech Republic and Bosnia later this spring.

The technical details – it is a Wordpress site using the theme F8 which has then been customised for the artist’s needs. It also utilises the WP-ecommerce plugin to enable selling of MP3s from the site, under the complete control of the artist.
